Hi! I'm Adrienne, “Ms. Adrie”, and I started teaching at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy in February 2019. I taught Kindergarten and TK for seven years before coming here to teach the two year old program at Holy Cross. I absolutely love being a teacher to the two year olds. My co-teachers and I love working together to make the most of this program so each child can grow individually and as a community. 

 

I have two incredible daughters that are my favorite people in the world. They are both amazing to know and I love spending as much time with them as I can. Together we enjoy visiting art museums, going to concerts, hiking, and making day trips to the beach. In my own free time I go on backpacking trips and I like to paint. I painted the mural in the hallway here at the school back when the school was first being built, and then added the back ocean mural over a decade later. 

 

I love teaching and consider it an honor to be with your children at this young age. I believe in embracing each child's individual pace while teaching, I am passionate about the importance of free play and free art, and I know that instilling confidence and joy for learning is the best gift a teacher can give.
