Hello, my name is Tina Pierce. I was born in Colorado. My family moved to Wyoming when I was three years old, where I grew up, graduated from college, and was married. I have been married to my husband since 1995! I graduated with a Secondary Education degree, emphasis in Mathematics and began my Education career teaching Math to 8th graders in Wyoming. I love that age group and teaching the “dreaded” math class.  My husband’s job relocated us to California in 2003, while I was pregnant with our first child. We became members of Holy Cross. I became a full-time mom and raised our two wonderful children, a daughter and son who are now in high school, soon to be in college. 

 

While my kids grew up, I busied myself volunteering at church and my kid’s school alongside tutoring math to high schoolers, being a substitute teacher, then a teaching assistant in a K-8 Montessori school. In 2019, I joined the Holy Cross Lutheran Academy team and now work behind the scenes as the Business Administrator. I love these little people at the Academy and find such joy when I work the front desk and get to know them and their parents. In my spare time, I enjoy playing games with my family and friends, superhero movies, good books, and cool weather. My favorites are New Mexico green chili, jambalaya, and coffee.
