Our preschool prep program at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy is for children who have limited experience away from home or with other children their own age. This program, which is available in Rocklin, CA and surrounding areas, is designed to help children socialize with peers, communicate needs to both children and adults, participate in individual and group activities, use their manners, and develop more autonomy in performing many tasks, including toilet training.
Teachers are committed to maintaining a safe, playful learning environment with developmentally appropriate activities for children to explore. Children are introduced to age-appropriate concepts in religion, math, science, social science, language, music, and art. A 1:8 teacher/child ratio ensures that children receive more personalized attention and individualized instruction.
Why Join Our Preschool Prep Programs?
As the “Best Preschool in Rocklin,” the purpose of our learning center surpasses that of the average preschool. Unlike other preschools, we aim to guide and support each individual child's emotional, academic, social, spiritual, and physical development.
What Sets Our Preschool Programs Apart?
In both preschool prep and preschool, the emphasis is on the whole child. The learning environment for our young children is safe, nurturing, and inviting so that their minds are open to learning.
What to Expect From Preschool Prep
Upon enrolling a child in preschool prep at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy, parents should know that children are encouraged to explore their environment and expand their abilities while working toward achieving autonomy skills. Young children will have the opportunity to practice a variety of skills, including communication, toilet training, socialization, fine and gross motor, and independence while being exposed to developmentally appropriate activities and concepts.
Morning, Afternoon, and Summer Enrichment
With our morning and afternoon enrichment programs, we help realize the potential of our students. Furthermore, we provide educational summer activities in order to prepare young students for their classes in the fall.
